Whitley Bay FC TV is designed to show Highlights and News Items featuring Whitley Bay Football Club.

This site is provided free for all users but does cost to provide and may be supported by advertising going forward. If you are interested in showing your adverts on WBFC-TV please contact us via email.

In order to view these videos you will need a recent version of Adobe Flash Player, the more recent the better from a performance point of view. You will also need a broadband internet connection. If you can watch BBC iPlayer then you should be able to view our videos.

To playback a clip simply click on the main image or on the play button in the status bar, you can send links to these videos via email by using the share icon.

Not all clips have sound and none (at this stage) have commentary. I would love to hear from anyone who could record commentary to accompany the videos and can arrange for this to be added at a later stage.

If you find your playback stutters then it is likely that you do not have a fast enough connection to stream live, best course of action is to pause and allow the buffer to build up, you can see this from the progress bar becoming shaded, and then start playing again when it has filled up a little further.

Some videos may have 2 quality levels, you can change between them by clicking the HD button on the main video screen, please note if you are on a bandwidth limited broadband package that these videos are of a considerable size. For guidance a High Quality Clip is about 8Mb per minute and a Standard Quality Clip is 4Mb per minute.

Mobile devices are not deliberately supported at this stage with the exception of the iPhone which can be used over 3G and Wireless to view these videos. You may find that your mobile device can playback these videos, if not please let me know and I'll see what can be done to add support.

Match highlights are also embedded in the corresponding match reports where applicable.

Copyright permission is very important to us and permission has been sought and obtained for each clip hosted on this site, if you feel we have infringed on your copyright then please contact us and we will investigate and resolve.

The External section of this site is linking or embedding to videos hosted on external sites, we are linking with permission but are totally dependent on these external sources for their copyright licencing. For the avoidance of doubt, we have always assumed that these external sites have the required copyright permission for the clips they are hosting.

We welcome any video which features Whitley Bay FC. All clips will be branded as WBFC-TV and must have the appropriate copyright permission and but full credit will be given to the provider/owner. If you have video but are unsure of the copyright situation then please contact us and we will endeavour to include the footage on the site.

We hope you enjoy WBFC-TV, we would welcome any feedback or suggestions for future enhancements. We are particularly interested in hearing from any local companies who would like to partner up with the site who can provide video recording services.
