05/05/2010 - 4 Days To Go : Getting There

We're focussing on getting to Wembley on the site today, as hopefully you're all aware by now the club is running a chartered train service to Wembley as well as a fleet of supporters coaches.

It's not too late to book your travel, but please be quick, the train is stoppingat Kings Cross station so you will need to make your own way across to Wembley from there. With a few service issues on the underground that day, Essex based Whitley Bay fan, Chris Green got in touch with us to offer the following helpful hint for Bay fans on the day.

"The easiest way, involving the least changes, would probably be Victoria Line from Kings Cross to Green Park, then Jubilee Line from Green Park to Wembley Park, maybe changing onto the faster Metropolitan Line at Baker Street, or possibly Finchley Road where there is cross-platform interchange."

For those of you who may be driving down, the official Wembley car park site is run by CS Parking.

The FA have also given us the following PDF with useful information for the day.

To book your tickets on the official club train please contact 0191 4028999 between 9am-5pm or the football club on 0191 2913637 between 6pm and 10pm. Tickets for the coaches can be obtained at the club from Tommy Moody.

Please check out the forum for some recommended meet up spots for Bay fans on the day, the Baker Street area and the Green Man pub by Wembley seem to be popular areas. Also after the match, win or lose, the team are intending to head to the Green Man pub to meet up with the fans.
